Copyright Registration in Bangladesh
An application for the registration of copyright in Bangladesh and transfer, abandonment, modification of registered copyright in Bangladesh has to be filed before the Registrar, Copyright Office.

Registration
What are the required documents for the registration of a copyright in Bangladesh?
1. An application form
2. Treasury document (confirming payment of Government charges)
3. Required copies of the work to be registered
4. Power of Attorney, when applicable
5. Transfer agreement on stamp paper, when applicable
Transfer of Copyright
An application may be made in a prescribed form to the Copyright Office to assign, transfer or license.
Remedies Against Infringement
There are three kinds of remedies against infringement of copyright, namely:
Civil Remedies
The owner of the copyright can bring a civil action seeking reliefs such as Anton Pillar Order (Search Order) injunction, accounts and damages.
Criminal Remedies
1. Imprisonment Or Imposition Of Fine Or Both And
2. Seizure Of Infringing Copies Etc.
Administrative Remedies
The Registrar may ban import into Bangladesh and confiscate infringing copies.
